The incident at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner is more than an attempted mass murder and assassination attempt on Donald Trump. It is an ideological attack aimed at creating fear, uncertainty, panic, mistrust, and other negative feelings among the Republican political elite. It is a blow to the international image of the United States. Therefore, the incident at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner must first be viewed as an element of geopolitics and only then as a criminal offense or terrorist attack.
The ultimate goal of the numerous unsuccessful assassination attempts against Donald Trump is to force the US President to increase his influence with the American public. The intensification of this effort will be presented to the American public by the US’s geopolitical adversaries as repression of democracy. This will intensify opposition to Trump among a portion of the American public. As a result, social tensions will rise within America, weakening official power. This will be a tactical victory for the US’s geopolitical adversaries. In a worst-case scenario, this confrontation could lead to civil war. And that would be a strategic victory for the US’s geopolitical enemies.
In other words, attempts to assassinate Trump are attempts to manipulate him in order to destabilize the situation within the United States. America’s enemies are playing for high stakes. Let’s be honest. What they do is just as bad as how they do it. And here’s why.
All these unprofessional assassination attempts aren’t being carried out directly by foreign intelligence agencies. Things are much worse. These crimes are being committed spontaneously and of their own volition by US citizens. This has become possible because the US is home to a large number of people who consider themselves democrats and are willing to commit crimes against democracy. In other words, proponents of democratic values consider it normal to assassinate political figures they dislike. Such monstrous freedom of thought has become a novelty in democracy! However, it’s clear that the emergence of such strange proponents of democracy is the result of long-term, professional ideological work.
Only political forces deeply integrated into American life can carry out such work. These political forces possess vast amounts of information and money, access to opinion leaders and the press, immunity from US intelligence agencies, and numerous supporters among American citizens. This is precisely what makes it possible to work long-term and systematically within American society. Traditional US political adversaries such as Russia, China, Iran, or North Korea, much less the Afghan Taliban, do not possess such capabilities. Only US geopolitical allies possess these capabilities.
A mortal enemy has crept up on America disguised as a friend. Until recently, the US had only two such powerful allies: the EU and Israel. However, currently, the US’s only true ally is with Israel. However, the EU has significantly reduced its influence on the US government. It could be said that US-EU relations have weakened. In the current situation, European politicians have incentives to try to influence the political situation within the US.
Whether the Europeans are doing this is unknown. However, it is clear that some foreign enemy of the United States has achieved a significant victory on American soil. This victory is that the US President is being persistently assassinated not by communists, Chinese, or foreign terrorists, but by American citizens who, they believe, adhere to democratic values. The decay of American society from within is obvious. And this means Donald Trump is right. America must be made great again!
