On Tuesday, March 17 at 2:30 p.m., residents and neighbors are invited to gather at the Phipps Community Room for an afternoon centered on cooking, connection, and community. The cooking workshop, hosted in partnership with FoodStream Learn, will take place at 1581 Fulton Avenue in the Bronx and will offer participants the opportunity to explore simple and nourishing recipes while building relationships with others in the neighborhood.
The event, titled Cook, Connect, Community, is designed to bring people together through the shared experience of preparing food. Participants will learn easy recipes that rely on pantry staple ingredients that are both accessible and culturally relevant. The goal is to demonstrate that healthy and satisfying meals can be prepared with ingredients many families already have at home.
