Explosion Rocks Marijuana-Filled Apartment in Bronx’s Belmont Area

Breaking news from the Bronx—An apartment reportedly filled with marijuana exploded today near the Belmont area, causing significant damage.

The incident occurred at the corner of East 184th Street and Bassford Avenue, specifically at 490 East 184th Street around 7 PM.

The explosion blew out the windows of the entire first-floor apartment. NYPD and FDNY responded to the scene; while FDNY has since departed, NYPD remains.

Surprisingly, the area has not been cordoned off yet. Further details are expected as the investigation continues.
